Hii Everyone, I'm glad to see you again this week for a interestic topic. Nowadays, most of the smartphone industry especially Android gives a plenty a good camera system on their devices. 50 megapixel, 64 megapixel and 108 megapixel and sometimes up to 200 megapixel. But, in Apple devices their only uses 12 megapixel in most of their devices.

Do Higher Megapixel really gives a good image quality ??

In the market of manufacture sensor for camera , Samsung image sensor and Sony IMX sensor plays the major role. Do they really provide the power for their sensor according to the rate of Megapixel ?🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

Even though, having a high megapixel is advantage for user , its not beneficial all the time. Usually, higher megapixel use smaller pixel / sensor. Smaller pixel will reduce the intake of background light to capture the image. 

Taking higher megapixel picture will shows the details more natural, usually users dont prefer it. As a user, I also dont use it all the time. But, dont you all think megapixel its not worth at all, it will help for the pro user most of the time.

PIXEL BINNING

Most of us, really dont know much information about pixel binning. Smarthphone always uses pixel binning process to capture image in lower MP aproximately 12.5 MP.  Pixel Binning technology is a process that help to chooce best lighting space to produce high quality low light shots. User always need to activate the 50/180 MP option on camera manually. Because, the higher megapixel uses high storage.

FOR AN EXAMPLE :

GOOGLE PIXEL 6 PRO

- GOOGLE PIXEL 6 PRO advertised that having 50 MP main camera but the device usually use 12.5 MP to take the pictures.

This help us make a point, as a smarthphone manufacturer we can't advertised a device having lower Megapixel camera. This will creates a disctintion among the competitors. In my opinion, higher megapixel not guarantee good image because most of the smartphone uses pixel binning to produce the image. Every smartphone having different power level for pixel binning. So an intelligent user choose the smarthphone according to the brand and price not the megapixel.

Everyone need a good camera system in their smartphone. So chooce it wisely.
